Operate primary extrusion lines in accordance with work instructions, quality plans, tooling setup and operator training to meet or exceed productivity requirements and minimize scrap. Cross-head extrusion experience a plus. Positions available for 1st & 2nd shifts.

This position will support testing, certifications/re-certifications of cable designs, prototypes, cable modifications, for all produced custom cables. Cable designs predominately incorporate industry standards, custom and proprietary test plans and commercial components and wires; shielded and unshielded single/multi-conductor wires; and other devices.

Manages the inspection and test functions in Assembly, including incoming inspection, in-process inspection, electrical testing, first article, final inspection and packaging. Manages shipping holds and inventory locations for pre-released and quarantined product. Is responsible for the routine activities of the inspection group with respect to work flow and efficiencies.

Primarily responsible for quality control inspection, preparing material for cable manufacturing and distribution of orders. The spooling process is to identify, by visual inspection, quality of cable by spooling from one spool to another. Visual inspection is performed for entire cable and cutting lengths are based on customer requirement. Spooling always requires FWI-017 Spark Test Voltages to ensure it passes voltage requirements.
